NORTH EAST CORRINGHAM
VISION
NORTH EAST CORRINGHAM
VISION
Mulberry Strategic Land is hoping to submit an outline planning application for up to 412 new homes in a range of types and tenures in line with local needs. Affordable homes of various tenures will be provided, helping to meet Thurrock’s high level of housing demand.
As well as providing much-needed new homes, the new neighbourhood would serve existing residents with a new local supermarket, primary school and care home providing essential education and healthcare services, creating jobs and supporting the local economy.
Illustrative masterplan
The proposals include:
- Up to 412 new homes
- Affordable housing
- Primary school
- Care home
- New supermarket up to 2,000sqm
- Homes designed sensitively around the landscape
- New access to public green space with improved pedestrian routes
- Realignment of Southend Road
- Financial contributions towards improvements in the local area
With everything to serve the community’s needs on its doorstep, we would like to create a great place to live in North East Corringham – a new neighbourhood which fits in to the wider Corringham community, with the benefits shared by both.
